In hindsight, I think the occasion weighed more on the English than us ,we had generations of will built ready to unleash ,given the right atmosphere...it almost seems to have sulked the life outa the English, they were like school boys by the end ....no offence intended I'm delighted it went off respectfully.

My Great grandmother left ireland at the time of the famine Which sounds a long time ago but In family It isn’t. For some strange reason my mother always said we were not Irish, and I never really forgave her for that. I am Scots - Irish, I am a Celt And proud of that. Reading about Crome park It’s something very emotional for me, I can only think these things travel in our blood

I'm French. I told my father England had lost the game even before the kick-off. He asked me how could I say that. I answered to him the anthems, and especially Ireland's call, united the country and 6 millions of fans where behind the 23 boys in green. This plus the history and the context, you could gave England 23 unbeatable All Blacks but Ireland would still have won. I'll give everything I own to travel back and attend this game. The atmosphere was crazy even behind a TV. But i'd be happy to attend an Ireland England game one day. Definitely something to watch

I’m a Northern Irish man (I bet you all could guess which side I was brought up on by saying that) and watching Shaggy dot down that perfect Gaelic try is a thing of beauty. You know what, as an Englishman I appreciate and actually quite enjoy watching this game-it's one of those matches a neutral can watch over and over again and few other English losses give that sensation! Ireland showed truly outstanding grit and skill to take a victory they simply had to take.
